Day 1: Arrival in Livingstone · Welcome to the Zambezi

11:45 — Arrive at Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport, where a Dominion Travel & Tours representative will welcome you and assist with your transfer into Livingstone. Check in at Maramba River Lodge and settle into the relaxed rhythm of this vibrant adventure town.

15:30 — Transfer to the river cruise departure point; boarding is scheduled from 16:00. At approximately 16:30, set off on a memorable Zambezi sunset cruise. Watch the river glow in copper and gold as the sun slips towards the horizon. Look out for hippos and river birds along the banks; wildlife sightings are never guaranteed. After the cruise, return to your accommodation for an evening at leisure.

Day 2: Two countries, one breathtaking waterfall · Afternoon safari

Begin with breakfast at Maramba River Lodge before joining your guide for a 3–4-hour excursion exploring Victoria Falls from both the Zambian and Zimbabwean viewpoints. Hear the thunder of the plunging water, feel its fine mist and enjoy changing perspectives across the great gorge. Border-crossing formalities and any applicable visas are subject to individual travel requirements.
Pause for lunch at a restaurant of your choice, guided by local recommendations. In the afternoon, trade the waterfalls for the bush on a guided game drive in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park. Search for giraffe, zebra, antelope and other wildlife while your guide shares insights into the landscapes and conservation of the area. Return to Maramba River Lodge for dinner and a restful evening.

Day 3: Livingstone Island · Devil’s Pool adventure

Enjoy breakfast and a relaxed start to the morning. At 11:00, depart for the Livingstone Island excursion meeting point. A boat transfer is scheduled for approximately 12:00, followed by a guided island visit at around 12:30. From this remarkable position near the crest of Victoria Falls, appreciate the force and beauty of the Zambezi before enjoying the lunch described in the original program.

Where water levels and operator safety assessments permit, the excursion may include the famous Devil’s Pool experience. Swimming is strictly subject to seasonal operating conditions, weather, eligibility and guide approval. At approximately 14:30, return by boat to the launch site and transfer back to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

Day 4: Farewell, Livingstone · Departure

After breakfast, check out of Maramba River Lodge. At the arranged time, meet your driver for the transfer to Harry Mwanga Nkumbula International Airport and your onward journey. Depart with memories of thundering falls, golden river sunsets and the magic of Zambia’s safari country.
